Tasks and duties 

- Accountable for the achievement of the channel sales volumes
- Accountable and responsible for monitoring Channel performance against plan, and in co-ordination with the national sales manager
- Ensure the development of business plans for key customers and that these plans are effectively executed.
- Responsible for effective implementation of Channel, Customer and Category sales plans.
- Achieve channel coverage, core distribution and POP objectives and ensure excellence in execution.
- Update call Cycle when needed
- Responsible to identify new channel opportunities and recommend action / activities to exploit them.
- Accountable and responsible for building and maintaining good commercial relationship with key customers in the Channel.
- Accountable to ensure that Debt Collection are made on time and in line with Channel payment terms.
- Accountable and responsible for monitoring and providing information on competition and customers in the Channel -
- Responsible to propose and agree with the Channel Manager/General Business Manager on the Channel commercial policy and customer service standards and accountable on verifying adherence.
- Accountable and responsible to manage, control, motivate and evaluate the Channel Sales Team.
- Accountable and responsible for the development of the Channel Sales Team via regular on-the-job training and field appraisals
- To effectively lead, control and manage the Sales Team To achieve the business objectives.
- To coordinate the preparation of the Channel Commercial Plan.
- To deliver Channel distribution and visibility and POP objectives.
- To prepare and present Business Plans and Business Review to the top 5 accounts
